He has spent the last ten years researching nutrition and alternative approaches to healing due to a growing unease with western medicine’s over- reliance on drug based treatments. After retiring from Pharmacy, he studied Naturopathy and Herbal Medicine at the London based College of Naturopathic Medicine. John’s approach is one of personal care and attention combined with scientific knowledge and research. His aim is to enable people to take charge of their own mental and physical health, improve their vitality and well-being, by providing them with dietary and lifestyle advice and, where necessary, safe and effective remedies. He strictly limits the number of clients he sees each week. This allows time to form a deep understanding of the root causes of each client’s problems through a thorough interview process. He then designs a comprehensive treatment plan including diet, stress reduction, lifestyle and exercise recommendations. If necessary, he will also use some supplements and herbs. As a Pharmacist with vast knowledge of pharmaceutical drugs he can advise clients on the safe use of specific supplements and herbs whilst continuing with their usual prescription medication. John is an avid researcher, continuously adding to his knowledge, and frequently attends seminars and workshops to ensure that he can provide his clients with the latest up-to- date information.
